mandaragiri hill

Also known as Basadi betta, it is a monolith with about 450 steps carved from base to top, making it an easy trek. Beginning with the famous peacock-feather architecture Jain temple and a giant statue, the trek leads one through ancient temples, tiny ponds and eventually opens up to a 360° view of the nearby village, overshadowed by the tremendous Mydala lake.
