Devarayanadurga hills is a treat with its multiple little nooks of picture-perfect views and panoramic green scenery.  It's got a postcard looking lake, 200 stairs to the temple, antique ruins, friendly pups and a personal favourite is the beautifully scenic drive - the way the hills are almost entirely concealed that at one turn they come into sight out of seemingly nowhere!
